Job Overview
The Brand Experience & Events Manager plays a key role in bringing the fandom to life through immersive experiences and high-impact brand activations for BoxLunch and Her Universe. This role supports the end-to-end execution of major conventions (including San Diego Comic-Con, New York Comic-Con, D23 and other key fan events), store activations, and brand moments that drive engagement, community, and sales.
Pay Range
$80,000 - $100,000 a year
What You'll Do
- Event Planning & Execution – develop and support the planning, logistics, and on-site execution of BoxLunch and Her Universe convention activations, pop-ups, and brand experiences.
- Manage event timelines, production schedules, and deliverables across cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Coordinate shipping, setup, teardown, and post‑event logistics in collaboration with operations and warehouse teams.
- Manage and track vendor quotes, invoices, and budgets to ensure events stay within scope and financial targets.
- Creative & Brand Alignment – partner with Creative and Brand Marketing to ensure all events reflect the brand’s tone, look, and storytelling standards.
- Support development of event signage, consumer experiences, and premium giveaways that reflect brand positioning.
- Collaborate with Social and PR teams to align content capture, influencer engagement, and coverage opportunities.
- Licensing & Partner Collaboration – work closely with licensors (Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, etc.) to negotiate contracts and secure approvals for activations and assets.
- Support execution of partner activations and co‑branded experiences, ensuring compliance with brand and legal guidelines.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting – assist in building post‑event recaps, capturing KPIs, engagement metrics, and consumer insights; maintain tracking of fan events, key learnings, and best practices to inform future planning.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, experiential, or event production (retail or entertainment industry preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Passion for pop culture, fandoms, and community engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Airtable).
- Willingness to travel and work weekends for major conventions and events.
