Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Role overview

This role leads a portfolio of media and event brands in the Farming sector, manages daily business activities and the P&L, and guides strategic direction across brands such as Farm Progress, Delta Farm Press, state media brands, the Farm Progress Show, Husker Harvest Day Show, and the Organic Producers Network. Oversees a team and drives growth (organic and inorganic) while seeking efficiency gains. Includes oversight of Informa Subscription Services.

Aligned with focus areas, responsible for financial, operational, and customer performance (NPS) of Agriculture brands; make strategic decisions to ensure commercial viability, market presence, and exceptional customer experience.

Develop strategic vision and value proposition; create, manage, and deliver products and solutions addressing customer challenges in Agriculture.

Lead a team of media leaders, event managers, marketers, sales, and operations; explore geographic growth opportunities; guide business as part of Informa Markets leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or tertiary level qualification
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in senior roles
  • Experience managing event and media budgets, P&Ls, and 3-year plans
  • Experience managing remote teams
  • Ability to develop relationships at senior levels with high-value accounts
  • Ability to define brand and growth strategies; articulate value proposition
  • Analytical thinker with risk management skills
  • Preferred deep existing knowledge of agricultural communities and business needs

The salary range for this role is $212,500- $260,000 based on experience. This posting will automatically expire on February 3, 2026.
