Social Media Intern (Influencer & Community Growth)
Location: Syracuse, NY (in-office)
Hours: part-time to start
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
About the Role
This is a brand-new role at a growing startup - Social Media has previously been managed by an outside agency and we are now bringing it in-house!
We’re looking for someone to take ownership and help build our social media presence. Our social media hasn’t been fully leveraged yet, so you’ll be creating structure, processes, and momentum — not just posting content!
If you’re organized, proactive, and excited about influencer marketing, community building, and real engagement, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Manage inbound influencer and creator messages
- Assist with outbound influencer outreach
- Organize and maintain our content and UGC library
- Monitor and respond to social media comments and DMs
- Help build repeatable social and influencer workflows
- Surface insights on what content and conversations are working
- Offer strategy and directional advise to the team
Who You Are
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable on Instagram, TikTok, and social platforms
- Strong communicator with a good sense of brand voice
- Motivated by ownership, growth, and learning fast
- Able to work in-office in Syracuse
