Route Sales Representative - Local 600
Lewis Bakeries is a family owned and operated company that was started by three brothers in 1925 in Anna, Illinois. Lewis primarily bakes loaf bread, buns and rolls under branded products such as Bunny Bread, Lewis Bake Shop, Healthy Life, as well as other brands. Bakery facilities are located in LaPorte, Ft. Wayne, Vincennes, and Evansville, Indiana, and Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Our heritage has been one of quality and reliability since 1925. Lewis Bakeries Inc., has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Route Sales Driver working in the Farmington, Missouri area. Responsibilities: Responsible for route operational activity, including ordering and distribution, merchandising, promotional activity, holiday planning, and meeting customer expectations. Communicate with customers to assist them in understanding the promotional activity, and understand what our customer delivery expectations are. Assist customer relations to include selling of new products, and space/position gains Ensure that product distribution is accomplished to customer satisfaction in agreement with any contract terms and requirements. Represent Lewis Bakeries as a leader in the baking business. Qualifications: DOT certified & experience driving a 26' box truck High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required Excellent interpersonal skills Basic computer skills helpful.
