This position is responsible for ongoing responsibility for assisting with the phone parts sales and customer service responsibilities./ppQUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)/pulliHigh School Diploma or G.E.D./liliMinimum of one year experience in heavy truck parts industry and/or sales./li/ulpPreferred/Required Skills and Abilities:/pulliMust have excellent customer service skills./liliExcellent verbal communication skills required./liliAbility to read and comprehend instructions and information./liliStrong commitment to delivering the highest level of customer service./liliKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications./li/ulpSupervision of others/decision making aptitude (if applicable):/pulliNo supervisory responsibilities required with this position./li/ulpESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES/pulliHandle parts requirements of customers through counter service and sales./liliAnswer sales inquiries by phone and in person for customers by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information./liliService existing accounts, obtains and follows up on orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential new accounts./liliAssessing present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities./liliMaintain customer goodwill./liliVerify receiving shipments by checking order against packing list./liliAssist in keeping parts clean and shelf section area stocked and orderly./liliFollow-up on shortages and expedite through reporting to parts manager./liliSupply service technicians with parts as requested./liliOperate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)./liliMust be able to do heavy lifting of equipment parts and tools as required from time to time./liliMaintain an organized and efficient work flow in the department./liliEnsure all paperwork is filled out and completed accordingly./liliAble to follow directions from a supervisor./liliAble to interact effectively with co-workers./liliMust be able to work independently as well as be a team player with the department./liliAble to understand and comply with posted rules and procedures./liliMaintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies./liliAdhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance./liliPerforms Wallwork Inc.-wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor./liliUpholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures./li/ulpBENEFITS/pulliHealth, Dental
