Analyze bid specifications with precision and insight to ensure our proposals meet client needs. Consultation:
Collaborate closely with sales and account management teams, providing expertise on underwriting guidelines. Communication:
Be proactive in communications with brokers and internal partners, ensuring seamless information flow and follow-up. Data Management:
Use our proprietary rating engine, entering and handling crucial data for accurate proposals. Broker Education:
Share your knowledge with our partners, helping them understand our offerings inside and out. This position may experience periodic visits to broker offices alongside our sales representatives, building strong relationships face-to-face. Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus 2+ years of experience required. Must obtain Life & Health licenses within 3 months and apply for required non-resident licenses. Must maintain licenses by meeting continuing education requirements. Requires ability to understand and maintain knowledge of insurance operations, products, and concepts with the ability to apply marketing strategies and systems. Must have excellent Excel skills as well as Microsoft Office knowledge. Requires strong planning, organizational, problem solving and time management skills with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities. Must have good oral and written communication skills plus the ability to develop effective relationships and motivate producer behavior. Must have excellent computer and keyboarding skills. Experience quoting and pricing group benefits, preferred. Salesforce experience a plus. Ability to work well under pressure and be self-directed. Salary Range Information:
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $53000 - $71000 / year. Time Off Program:
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension:
