Job Description: Client is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will accurately perform high-speed data entry and validation of digital and hardcopy documents. This role supports document processing workflows including classification validation, data extraction quality control, and check verification. Candidates must attach a typing test score to their resume and will be required to complete a typing test as part of the screening process.
Responsibilities
Perform accurate high-speed manual data entry (target 15,000 keystrokes per hour) into data entry software. Verify and validate incoming digital images and document classifications. Correct exceptions in automated document classification, extracted data, and redactions. Manually enter meta-data index information from digital documents. Conduct quality control checks on documents converted to digital formats. Validate incoming checks and related documentation, ensuring proper payee, date, and signature. Generate check return letters if necessary. Analyze and correct check amounts from automatically extracted data. Reconcile check batch totals and ensure fiscal control of check batches. Research and analyze check distributions per customer requirements. Compare hardcopy documents to digital versions to ensure conversion quality. Meet productivity and accuracy standards established by management. Complete required paperwork in a timely, accurate, and legible manner. Adapt to changing situations while maintaining quality and production standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
