Leasing Manager – Rent Stabilized – Queens, NY
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year
A multifamily real estate group in Queens, NY with a portfolio of over 6,500 units is seeking a Leasing Manager to oversee 1,000+ units. The successful candidate will manage a team of 4-5 individuals, utilize Yardi, and maintain compliance with New York City rent stabilization, 421A, Individual Apartment Improvements (IAI), and Major Capital Improvements (MCI).

Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of leasing for multifamily apartments, ensuring processes are efficient and effective
Manage Individual Apartment Improvements (IAI) and Major Capital Improvements (MCI) to enhance property value
Handle apartment registrations and ensure compliance with Division of Housing and Community Renewal (DHCR) regulations
Utilize Yardi software for operational and financial reporting
Coordinate with accounting to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Manage the 421A tax incentive program to maximize benefits
Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations and tenant satisfaction
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar leasing role with multifamily apartments
Proven experience with IAI and MCI
Familiarity with apartment registrations and DHCR regulations
Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software
Strong background in Accounting and Finance, with ability to manage budgets and perform financial analysis
Experience with the 421A tax incentive program
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to exceptional tenant service
