Department: Public Works About Our Job Sarasota County is looking for a Contract Analyst who is responsible for supervising staff and managing all aspects of contract responsibilities in the Public Works Department for Transportation and Field Services. Act as Administrative Agent on all Transportation and Field Service Contracts. Assist the Contract Manager to plan all future contractual services, agreements, quick quotes, pre-qualified bids, cooperative purchases, and work assignments. Manage a business unit program/work team and budget; monitor unit/program outcomes. Establish performance measures; coach/counsel/develop direct reports. Assist with development of preventative maintenance plans and schedules. Develop/implement program policies, procedures and/or job requirements. Identify/address operational issues; assist with quality assurance/control. Manage/review/write/prepare grants, contracts and/or RFPs. Conduct program/project/job cost analysis and generates reports. Procure materials and services; coordinates external resources/vendors. Monitor/adjust job plans as needed; facilitate internal/external trainings. Ensure compliance of regulatory/county principles, policies, practices. Build strong internal relationships and community partnerships. Identify trends and/or problems through statistical analysis and prepare complex/statistical reports and presentations. Present to the BCC and/or external groups. Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. About You
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Industrial/Engineering Technology and two (2) years job-related experience OR Six (6) years professional job-related experience can be substituted at management discretion for the required education OR Related professional program / project management may substitute for the required education at management discretion. Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Office products. Smartsheet, Teams, OnBase, One Solution, PowerPoint, Workday and Kronos preferred. About Everything Else
Pay Range- $50,523.20 - $67,932.80 This Posting is currently Open Until Filled Employee Type: Regular (Budgeted)
