Structured Products Middle Office team
in Miami. Role Overview
The Structured Products Middle Office professional will provide critical support to the multi-strategy fund’s trading desk, ensuring accurate trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reporting of structured products. This role will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, operations, and technology teams to maintain efficient trade workflows and mitigate operational risk. Key Responsibilities
Support the Structured Products trading desk with trade lifecycle management, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation. Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with front office, operations, and technology teams to enhance trade processes and implement automation initiatives. Generate trade and portfolio reports for internal stakeholders and assist with ad hoc requests. Contribute to projects involving system upgrades, trade automation, and process improvement initiatives. Maintain clear documentation of middle office procedures, controls, and best practices. Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in
middle office, trade support, or operations roles , ideally focused on structured products. Strong knowledge of
structured products and other instruments , including
US Treasuries, corporate bonds, mortgage securities, commodities, futures, equities, and foreign exchange . Experience with trade capture, pricing, and portfolio management systems. Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Preferred Skills
Proficiency in programming or scripting (Python, VBA, SQL) for automation and data analysis. Understanding of regulatory reporting requirements for structured products.
