
Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager
A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager to support a tenured and collaborative commercial lines team. This role focuses on servicing and supporting an assigned book of business, with an emphasis on renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day client support. Administrative tasks such as certificates and ID cards are handled by a dedicated support resource, allowing this position to remain service- and relationship-focused.

Responsibilities
Support and service an assigned Commercial Lines book of business
Assist with renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and coverage reviews
Support new business quoting and placement efforts
Collaborate with Producers and internal teams to retain and grow client relationships
Communicate with insurance carriers regarding renewals, coverage changes, and placement options
Maintain accurate documentation and records within the agency management software
Qualifications/Requirements
Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
Prior experience in Commercial Lines account management or servicing
Solid understanding of generalist Commercial Lines coverages, including Property, General Liability, and Workers’ Compensation
Experience working within an agency management software environment
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a high degree of independence
Compensation Package
Competitive base salary between $50K-$70K (depending on experience)
