
Senior Vice President, Tax

This role is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of a large, complex tax function within a U.S.-based organization operating at scale. The position owns tax strategy, compliance, governance, and advisory responsibilities across all relevant jurisdictions.
The executive will set both near-term and long-term tax strategy while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and standards. This role partners closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders to support business decisions, structural planning, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Own enterprise-wide tax strategy, planning, and execution Lead all tax compliance, filings, reporting, and regulatory interactions Advise senior leadership on tax implications tied to commercial decisions, transactions, and structural changes Drive tax efficiency while maintaining strong governance and risk controls Oversee tax accounting, provisioning, and financial reporting alignment Lead engagement with external advisors, auditors, and authorities Develop and maintain forward-looking tax models and forecasts Identify and implement process improvements, systems enhancements, and operational efficiencies Lead, develop, and manage a large, geographically distributed tax organization Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, development, and succession planning Navigate ongoing organizational change, transformation initiatives, and potential integrations Operates with executive-level judgment and discretion Influences senior decision-makers and drives alignment across competing priorities Leads through complexity, ambiguity, and change without disruption to core delivery Maintains strong ethical standards, integrity, and risk awareness Communicates complex tax matters clearly to non-technical stakeholders Ideal Background
Extensive experience leading corporate tax in a large, regulated organization Deep expertise in tax planning, compliance, and governance Proven success operating in highly regulated or scrutinized environments Experience working with external auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and scale tax operations Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and controls Track record of delivering measurable tax efficiencies while managing risk Qualifications
Advanced degree or professional certification preferred Significant senior-level tax leadership experience required
