ABOUT THE ROLE
are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to serve as the operational backbone of our growth initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of project management, data accuracy, and creative execution—ensuring our marketing programs run seamlessly while strengthening and supporting our business development pipeline. The coordinator will play a critical role in keeping our processes tight, our materials compelling, and our teams aligned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Marketing & Business Development Operations
Meticulously maintain the marketing and business development calendar, coordinating across internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely execution of all initiatives
Lead project management of the pitch deck creation process from intake briefing through final delivery, managing timelines, stakeholder input, and quality control
Support BD team in customizing pitch decks and other collateral for specific opportunities, tailoring content for prospective clients
Open, maintain, and update records in our CRM/database to ensure accurate business development reporting and pipeline visibility
Measure and report on defined metrics in support of business development and marketing goals
Content Management & Digital Presence
Support marketing team in uploading and publishing content across our content management system (CMS) and social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and quality
Support the daily aggregation and curation of news headlines for Kirk Palmer Associates' Daily News Brief, identifying relevant stories across fashion, consumer, and culture-driving brands
QUALIFICATIONS Required:
3-5 years of professional experience in a project management role in marketing, business development, or coordination, ideally in B2B environments with multiple internal “client” stakeholders
Background in high-end professional services environments with C-Suite+ audience (executive search, management consultancy, or VC/PE firm)
Genuine passion for fashion, consumer brands, and culture-driving companies
Proven project management abilities with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
Ability to work from NYC HQ 3 days per week, with flexibility where needed
Preferred:
Direct experience with pitch deck development and business development processes
Proficiency with CRM and/or ATS database systems
POV on AI to accelerate and enhance creative processes and outcomes

$65,000 - $85,000 based on experience, skills and growth potential
