
A fast-growing, venture-backed artificial intelligence–driven SaaS company is hiring an Account Manager to support continued growth in the energy and investment analytics space. The company builds data-driven software that helps customers improve capital investment decisions by reducing risk and driving better outcomes.
This role is responsible for generating new SaaS subscription revenue and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through close. The position is primarily onsite in Austin, Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and achieve assigned revenue and quota targets.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract close.
Prospect new accounts through cold calling, email, and inbound leads.
Add new customer logos and expand relationships within assigned accounts.
Renew and upsell existing customers as assigned.
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and activity tracking in Salesforce.
Collaborate with marketing on targeted outbound and demand-generation campaigns.
Required Skillset & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (business or technical preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of experience selling SaaS in an inside sales or business development role.
Proven track record of quota attainment in a SaaS environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated, competitive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
Ability to understand complex products and align solutions to customer investment goals.
