Purpose of Position To manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Non‑Alcohol (NA) department and designated sales representative(s) in each territory. Responsible to achieve company sales goals through communication, ongoing training, and education of those Sales Representative(s). The NA Sales Manager acts as a team leader and plays a key role in the execution of company and business objectives and is required to direct, plan, and control the activities of the Sales Representatives assigned to the team.

Description Sales Manager - Non‑Alcohol Regular; Exempt Territory: Butte & Helena

Responsibilities

Assist Sales Representatives to execute and achieve all sales and distribution goals.

Monitor service levels and call frequency and make recommendations for cost‑effective changes.

Perform daily work with and provide documentation and follow up forms to the Sales Representative, Supervisor, and VP of NA Sales.

Ensure Summit Beverages’ brands are represented to Company standards and to monitor competitors’ activities.

Develop, monitor, and recommend Company/supplier-supported sales PFP’s to the Director of Beer Sales monthly.

Track and evaluate the results of PFP programs, including target accounts, incentives, and market execution.

Accountable for all assigned chains to achieve sales, distribution, and ad/display goals.

Acquire and maintain adequate supplies of POS and other merchandising materials as needed; Assist in ensuring the POS area remains neat and orderly.

Prepare and present annual NA sales presentations to key customers in coordination with Sales Representatives.

Prepare and present the NA portion of monthly sales meetings.

Meet with key customers and assist Sales Representative with maintaining relationships and closing sales.

Attend and actively participate in all weekly sales meetings.

Assist with re‑sets as needed; Fill in for vacation routes as needed.

Ensure cold box rotation(s) are done on an as needed basis.

Assist the Company at special events and functions as required; and,

Assist with Quality audits when needed and report information correctly to management.

Supervisory and Team Development

Effectively interview, hire, and develop staff; Train sales staff and work directly with staff on a regular basis to reinforce training.

Plan, assign tasks, and direct work of subordinate personnel; Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

Appraise performance and reward employees appropriately; Address complaints and resolve personnel problems; Maintain harmony and unity among staff.

Take necessary corrective action in a timely manner and in accordance with company policy.

Work with all team members assisting them on their assigned routes striving for growth; and,

Brand Management

Responsible for NA brands in the designated markets.

Follow up with suppliers to ensure collection of billbacks/rebates.

Participate in annual planning meetings with suppliers; Join suppliers to meet with key chains.

Activate all aspects of new item rollouts including pricing, placement, targets, and authorizations.

Prepare and present in Red Bull monthly/annual planning meetings.

Work with suppliers and ensure execution of displays, distribution, and brand equity POS; and,

Build internal plan to achieve key supplier metrics and hold sales team and self to the results.

Requirements Qualifications Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and or

Five (5) or more years of professional experience in the beer/beverage industry (specifically selling), or closely related areas;

Three (3) or more years in a supervisory, administrative, or management capacity.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Strong beverage industry and product knowledge;

Write reports, business correspondence, and presentations;

Ability to exercise initiative and judgment in interpreting policies and procedures, delegating responsibilities, monitoring administrative activities, and evaluating the performance of staff and contracted vendors;

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, other governmental agencies, and the general public; Ability to promote positive public relations and to convey the objectives of the facility to various groups and individuals;

Excellent computer skills;

Ability to work on own initiative; Ability to handle wide range of tasks; and,
