Your Role:
Generate value for both customers and Alva while exemplifying and promoting the company's core values.
Build a revenue pipeline and successfully close deals.
Partner with the commercial team to swiftly develop effective strategies for penetrating target markets and identifying key customers where our value proposition and capabilities align.
Negotiate mutually beneficial sales agreements with a focus on adding value and fostering high-trust relationships with customers.
Gain a deep understanding of customer challenges and relay this information to internal stakeholders.
Full Time role, home based, eventual travels to HQ.

Experience Requirements:
Proven experience in business development or sales in the motion technology sector (e.g., servo motors, direct drive motors, drives, encoders, motion controllers, geared actuators).
Experience selling to companies in the medical, defense, precision equipment, or industrial robotics sectors.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events, with total travel comprising about 50%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Enjoys proactive sales roles and excels at introducing new technology products into product development settings.
Experience in machine and equipment design for automation, precision equipment, robotics, medical devices, packaging, defense, machine tools, or semiconductor industries.
Familiarity with drives, software, and integration of actuation solutions.
Knowledge of gears, gearboxes, or high-performance electric motors.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field such as mechatronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
Experience working in companies that are scaling rapidly; self-sufficient and able to meet sales targets while establishing structures and processes for growth.
Strong presentation skills and excellent written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
Proficient in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage customer accounts (preferably Salesforce)
