Job Summary We are looking for a detailed, analytical, and customer-centric
Sales Support Specialist
to join our dynamic and collaborative Sales Operations Team! The salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Work Environment This is a hybrid position that offers the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities
Support the sales team with general operations to help reach the team’s objectives.
Coordinate sales team activities by processing important documents and communicating relevant information.
Ensure the seamless onboarding of new customers by collecting necessary information, tracking approvals, and enabling timely setup.
Manage and monitor various programs and requirements to ensure compliance with business and customer expectations.
Identify product information requirements for customers and collaborate cross‑functionally to gather product data, understand product lifecycle, and provide accurate pricing and specifications.
Serve as the central point of contact for the Sales Team to research and resolve inquiries that require follow‑up with customers or other departments.
Respond to customer issues and provide after‑sales support when requested.
Coordinate payment functions, including customer discounts, rebates, or sales expense tracking, and create or update processing procedures.
Track payment activities monthly and work with accounting on inquiries related to credits, debits, accruals, and A/R reconciliations.
Provide reports to monitor budget activity related to customer programs and sales expenses.
Participate in developing sales operations, attend sales meetings, and assist with miscellaneous projects as needed.
Meet regularly with Sales, Accounting, and Customer Service to ensure processes work smoothly and efficiently.
Partner with IT on implementation, system fixes, and testing as needed.
Identify opportunities for improvement by documenting processes and working cross‑functionally to implement process changes.
Ensure serial numbers, warranty claims, and titles for large equipment are tracked and processed as needed.
Job Experience/Skills
Prior sales support or account management experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to problem‑solve.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Education Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
