About this role: As the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for Marketing activities related to Down To Earth Wholesale Sales, All Natural Fertilizers and Retail Sales. Digital media branding and content will be a key responsibility. The Manager is extremely skillful in strengthening Branding across Down To Earth social media, harmonizing Branding across divisions and improving digital media footprint across the board. Through effective project management, creative problem solving and skillful communication he/she will manage the complex nature of an established suite of brands while leading the evolution of its assets and activities in a changing marketplace. This position will collaborate with the Finance, Distribution, Retail, Wholesale Sales, Direct Sales and Fertilizer Production departments, as well as with colleagues from other divisions. Highly collaborative, highly professional, skill in digital media forums and ability to work with different groups without directly managing those groups, are all attributes necessary for successful execution in the role.

Interpersonal and Cross-Functional Skills

Regularly monitor and report on digital media activities and projects across Wholesale, Retail Sales and Fertilizer to ensure Marketing goals are met and in support of organizational strategy and objectives

Prepare Marketing activities and proposals based on customer performance, industry research and market data

Manage and develop budgets for Marketing related expenditures including travel, brand promotions

SEO, Ad campaign development and management, experience with Google, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook required

Content creation

Web development and site rebuilds

Manage professional relationships with key accounts in collaboration with the GM Wholesale, the GM Fertilizer Production the GM Retail and the Direct Sales Manager, brand representatives and other stakeholders

Brand Management

Work with GMs to oversee all aspects of the Down To Earth Brand portfolio including coordinating with the GMs and the Direct Sales and Business Development Manager

Collaborate with GMs to oversee appearance, content and creative direction of the brand website(s), and social media accounts

Customer Relationship Management

Develop and maintain excellent customer engagement levels with internal and external audiences

Demonstrate a bias toward service, quality and teamwork by building constructive, trusting and effective working relationships internally and externally

Skills and Competencies

Excellent WordPress skills

Strong digital security skills and acumen
