Role Summary We are seeking a passionate, growth‑driven business leader to oversee our highly strategic Aftermarket Parts product family within the Flow Control Division. This Product Management–oriented role is responsible for shaping and executing the global strategy for aftermarket parts, building and scaling new parts programs and kitting offerings, strengthening OE parts identity and branding, and developing a long‑term roadmap to drive sustainable growth. This position is based in either Houston, TX or Irving, TX and requires approximately 20% domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities
Own and drive the overall product line strategy and growth for the Aftermarket Parts portfolio (Valve Division)
Develop a comprehensive product plan that serves as the foundation for long‑term product line strategy
Lead the development and scaling of aftermarket parts and kitting solutions
Establish OE parts identity and branding for valve‑related aftermarket products to differentiate Flowserve parts in the market
Define and manage product lifecycle and End‑of‑Life processes, ensuring alignment with supply chain and business continuity needs
Create and maintain a five‑year strategic roadmap for the aftermarket parts product family
Use market insights to define strategic direction and build value propositions that create sustainable competitive advantage, win market share, and grow the business
Collaborate with global cross‑functional teams to shape and lead Parts program development, pricing, commercial approaches, and operational initiatives aligned to the product family strategy
Define and sustain effective channel strategies across Fulfillment Centers, Company‑Owned Service Centers, and Certified Service Centers, and lead the development and deployment of go‑to‑market plans
Create and drive organizational accountability to set, track, and achieve growth targets
Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally
Requirements
Four‑year business or engineering degree required
Strong market‑led and customer‑driven mindset
At least 5 years of experience in Services, Aftermarket, Product Management, or Commercial/Sales Operations, demonstrating flexibility, agility, and high energy
Proven track record in one or more global industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy, Power, Water, or General Industrial
At least 3 years in a functional leadership role delivering measurable business impact in Product Management, Marketing, Commercial, Sales, or Engineering for industrial products
Proven success working within global matrix organizations in multinational environments
Emotionally intelligent leader able to influence at all levels, solve complex problems, and manage conflict effectively
Clear and confident communicator with strong storytelling skills and executive presence
Ability to operate effectively within a complex global organization
Strong prioritization, time‑management, and urgency, including working across multiple time zones
Results‑driven approach with a commitment to driving accountability
Experience using voice‑of‑customer insights, market and competitor analysis, and financial analysis to inform decision‑making
Ability to develop hardware‑digital value propositions tied to customer needs and application‑specific value drivers
Innovative thinker who promotes creative, “outside‑the‑box” solutions
Demonstrated strength in leading go‑to‑market and commercialization initiatives
Ability to travel up to 20%, both domestically and internationally
Preferred
MBA and/or advanced engineering degree
Experience in the Flow Control industry, including actuation, control valves, and isolation valves
