Evergreen Sign Company, a premier provider of custom architectural signage, fixtures, and installation services, is actively seeking talented and driven individuals to join our team as Signage Project Estimators. As a Signage Project Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects. You will be responsible for crafting precise and competitive cost estimates, working closely with our sales, design, and production teams to ensure each project is scoped accurately and profitably.
Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and site surveys to prepare detailed cost estimates Source pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials and subcontracted services Calculate labor, materials, equipment, and installation costs Collaborate with sales and project managers to develop proposals and bids Maintain and update estimating tools, templates, and cost databases Ensure compliance with local codes, permitting, and safety standards Typical Project Examples
Estimating costs for illuminated building signs Budgeting for monument signs and pylon signs Cost analysis for ADA-compliant interior signage Estimating wayfinding systems for hospitals, campuses, and corporate facilities Pricing for vinyl graphics and dimensional letter packages Preparing permit drawings and cost breakdowns for commercial signage installations Qualifications
2+ years of experience in signage estimating or a related field (construction, fabrication, etc.) Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation practices Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Skills
Experience with CAD or design software (AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator) Familiarity with local permitting processes and building codes Background in project management or sales support is a plus Personal Attributes
