Flooring Estimator A well established flooring and installation company in the Southeast is seeking a skilled and detail oriented Flooring Estimator to join its team. This organization has a strong track record in both commercial and residential projects and is known for delivering high quality workmanship and service. Job Summary
Evaluate project requirements and prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates Support successful bidding and project execution through detailed analysis and collaboration Key Responsibilities
Conduct site reviews and take accurate measurements for flooring projects Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to understand scope and specifications Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine material quantities and installation requirements Select appropriate flooring materials and finishes based on project needs and industry standards Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, and related expenses Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing and confirm material availability and lead times Review plans and specifications and generate RFIs prior to bid submission Stay current on industry trends, pricing, and new products Qualifications
Three to five years of experience in estimating or project management, preferably in flooring or construction Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and construction standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Excellent math, analytical, and problem solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with estimating and project management software Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively Work Environment
Full time, 40 hour work week Office based role with extended time working on a computer Benefits
