Responsibilities

Oversee the planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops

Monitor plant growth and health, adjusting irrigation and nutrient schedules accordingly

Implement pest control measures and oversee water management techniques to ensure healthy crop production

Collaborate with agricultural specialists to improve yield and address production challenges

Conduct regular inspections of crops to identify and address any diseases or deficiencies in growth

Maintain accurate records and data to track production, yield, and crop quality

Record and analyze data related to crop performance for future improvements

Requirements

Proven experience in agricultural practices or horticulture, ideally in a growing environment

Strong understanding of plant biology, hydroponics, and large-scale greenhouses

Familiarity with sustainable farming practices and technologies is a plus

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to operate greenhouse systems, climate computers, and equipment

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a diverse team
