Overview
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Commercial Electrical Journeyman to join a team supporting a large-scale commercial construction project in Houma, LA. Beginning of project will include running PVC underground. Mud boots required.
Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components in commercial buildings
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams
Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes
Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
Supervise and guide apprentices or helpers on job sites
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Follow all safety procedures and protocols on job sites
Requirements/Skills
Valid journeyman electrician license (state-specific)
4+ years of commercial electrical experience
Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and building codes
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to work on commercial construction sites (indoor/outdoor)
Use of ladders, lifts, and required PPE
Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
Work may involve exposure to variable weather conditions and physical demands
