Are you ready to drive the future of sales compensation at one of the world’s leading medical device companies? Join the US Sales Compensation Team, where we support 11 unique Operating Units within Medtronic’s Cardiovascular and Neuroscience portfolios, as well as the Global Commercial Office.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders across various Operating Units, including Sales Finance, Total Rewards, and IT. Why Medtronic? Responsibilities
Administer commission/incentive processing in Callidus (EMIC) system
Assist with the administration of sales employee promotions and sales contests
Provide analytical data support for colleagues, partners and clients
Partner with IT to accurately maintain the sales commission system
Lead business requirements gathering for new enhancements for commission system
Test commission calculations, system enhancements, and reports
Develop and administer test scripts
Define process improvement and best practice opportunities to current business / work processes
Document and maintain procedures and business process work flows as related to commission processing
Complete quarterly and monthly commission and SOX control audits
Partner with broader Total Rewards team on other projects
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of compensation, payroll or finance experience OR Advanced Degree
Nice to Have
Proficiency with Callidus and/or Workday
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong relationship building, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines, work on several projects simultaneously and work independently and in a team environment
Ability to prioritize tasks and recognize when escalation is necessary
Ability to work with highly confidential data and always maintain confidentiality
Experience with quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques and tools
Advanced level skills in Workday, Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
Medtronic work experience – Knowledge of company products, company functions, and sales policies and procedures
Strong detail orientation
Previous experience in a customer service or high customer interaction
Good judgment and problem‑solving skills
