Volunteer Event Specialist

The Volunteer Event Specialist will support the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple in-person events. This role is ideal for someone with event-planning experience who wants to contribute their skills to a mission-driven organization while working in a collaborative and professional environment. Responsibilities

Assist with planning and logistics for multiple in-person events Coordinate with venues, vendors, and service providers Support event timelines, task tracking, and logistical checklists Assist with on-site event operations, including setup, registration, and breakdown Support volunteer coordination and on-site troubleshooting Assist with safety planning and basic risk management Communicate regularly with internal team members to ensure alignment Support post-event wrap-up, including documentation and feedback collection Preferred Experience

Prior experience supporting or managing in-person events Familiarity with event logistics, timelines, and coordination Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to remain flexible and solution-focused in fast-paced environments Clear communication and collaboration skills Interest in nonprofit, community, or wellness-focused work Time Commitment
