Job Description Direct Sales Agent Specialist
(Direct Auto Insurance – Allstate Business) is responsible for profitable growth by driving new business sales, building rapport, and retaining a book of business within market and retail locations.
Responsibilities
Delivers optimal results in quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance while complying with all rules and procedures.
Stays current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memo changes.
Monitors key local competitors and suggests initiatives to improve market position.
Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals.
Receives customer payments, issues receipts, and verifies reports for cash drawers.
Builds a sales pipeline through community contacts and maintains a physical presence in community centers, dealerships, events, and organizations.
Initiates outbound calls to established target customer base for product offerings.
Meets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross‑sell, and retention of current customers.
Education
High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Experience
0–2 years experience (Preferred)
Compensation Base compensation:
$20.00 per hour.
Total Compensation:
In addition to the base hourly rate, total compensation may include incentive pay such as commissions and bonuses based on individual and team performance.
