The National Business Development Representative – Architect (BDR-A National) is primarily responsible for developing and implementing strategy to build relationships resulting in increased awareness of Andersen solutions and demand creation with key firms in all segments within their defined territory.

Build internal relationships with key stakeholders to foster long-term brand loyalty with the customer.

Increase market share by executing the identified method to create opportunities, moving it through the sales process to execution leveraging support and services with the Andersen Architectural pull strategy.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement strategies that leverage the brand and product breadth within key

Architectural firms in assigned market area(s) for all segments.

Identify key stakeholders within those firms and cultivate rewarding business relationships.

Point of contact for all architectural Market Qualified Leads (MQL) obtained from various sources (web, call in, virtual webinars).

Responsible to progress leads through the sales process to the point of hand off collaborating with team to execute the sales strategy in the local market.

Monitor, track, and report on pipeline for all architectural Market Qualified Leads (MQL).

Work collaboratively with sales team and participate in monthly opportunity meetings.

Utilize Customer Management and sales reporting tools to effectively report and assess results of all market activities.

Leverage the services of sales enablement and product applications to deliver value to the trade and market in support of growing Andersen market share

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Work collaboratively with Business Development Representative-Architecture (BDR-A), Business Development Representative-Trade (BDR-T), Business Development Representative-Commercial (BDR-C) Territory Sales Representatives (TSR), Inside Sales Representatives (ISR), to guarantee a team approach and clear understanding of defined territories to ensure success.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

Four-year degree in Architectural Design, Construction Management, Business or a related field of study, or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of architectural design, residential/commercial construction processes and an ability to interpret specifications and architectural drawings.

COMPENSATION:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
