This full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position is directly responsible for the organization, coordination, supervision, and implementation of the financial aid program of the university. This position reports to the Director of Financial Aid and is located on the Mequon, Wisconsin Campus. Job Duties & Responsibilities

Packages financial aid for students, verifies need, assesses changes, and compliance testing Run daily MS access reports and packaging worksheets Uses critical thinking skills to perform independent judgment when packaging students Maintains knowledgeable of all federal title IV and state aid programs Processes scholarship checks on the student financial awards Prepares and conducts presentations on financial aid for perspective students as needed Travels to various training as needed Ensures customer service by answering telephones, emails, and consulting with walk-ins in a professional manner May perform other related duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Ability to communicate in a professional manner. Knowledge and skill in performing basic office procedures and practices Knowledge and skill in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and SCT Banner Financial Aid and imaging software or the ability and willingness to learn Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the University and maintain a positive, can-do, service-oriented attitude Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with students and their families when appropriate Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, organize work and meet deadlines in a busy office setting Ability to demonstrate ingenuity and prompt action in resolving problems Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree required Three to five years of relevant work experience that includes an advanced level of computer skills, a strong Windows base, and the ability to learn an integrated computer system Previous work in an academic setting, customer service setting, and/or experience with financial transactions and reconciliation are a plus Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The starting wage may be determined upon education and/or experience.
