The ideal candidate will have a background in writing and editing, as well as experience with commercial insurance or a related field. This candidate will play a key role in ensuring that content is clear, persuasive, and aligned with the brand voice.This role would ideally be hybrid, with the candidate working from Chicago headquarters two days a week. The contract starts on a 6-month term with long-term extension based on performance.Responsibilities:Content Creation: Write engaging and informative copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, flyers, brochures and video scripts.Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency. Correct all grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.Collaboration: Work closely with designers, product managers and other marketing colleagues to develop content that supports our marketing strategies and business goals.
