Position: Cybersecurity Specialist II (Contingent Upon Award)
Clearance:Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance w/SCIis required and current within the last five years
Work Location:Offutt AFB, Nebraska
Work Hours: Monday through Friday onsite (Regular Full-time)
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Position Summary
You will serve as the Principal Cybersecurity Advisor supporting the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and other secure mission systems. In this role, you will ensure continuous Authorization to Operate (ATO) for capabilities supporting USSTRATCOMs Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) mission. This is a high-impact, technical position focused on RMF accreditation, compliance execution, and risk mitigation within classified environments. You must be able to work onsite atOffutt AFB, Nebraska.
Duties shall include, but are not limited to the following:
- Execute the fullRisk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle to maintain ATO; develop and manage SSPs, POA&Ms, and SARs
- Manage Assessment & Authorization (A&A) workflows using eMASS and/or XACTA; track security controls and supporting artifacts
- Conduct monthly security audits and vulnerability assessments using ACAS/Nessus
- Provide cybersecurity guidance to the PMO and mission stakeholders on control implementation, compliance expectations, and risk posture
- Identify security violations and non-compliance issues; analyze vulnerabilities and provide actionable remediation recommendations
- Maintain classified documentation and produce detailed Monthly Status Reports (MSR) for government stakeholders.
Position Qualifications
- Associates degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Four (4years of intermediate cybersecurity experience with hands-on RMF/A&A documentation responsibilities
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with SCI eligibility/access, current within the past five (5) years.
- Working familiarity with EMSEC and TEMPEST concepts
- Security+, CISSP, or otherDoD 8140 / 8570-compliant baseline certification
- Experience with XACTA, eMASS, ACAS/Nessus
- Background supporting NC2, strategic/nuclear mission systems, or work in SCIF/classified environments
- CCSS (Command and Control Switching System) training (preferred)
- Strong written documentation skills, independent execution, and ability to communicate technical requirements to mixed audiences
- Business casual attire is required while performing duties in person.
- Available to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 4:30 PM CST.
- Impeccable customer service skills.
- Read, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
- Expertexperience using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe tools and systems to include Excel, Project, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Completion of initial and ongoing security training is required.
- Must meet client suitability.
