My client is an medical education organization focused on delivering accredited continuing medical education (CME/CE) for healthcare professionals and clinicians. Role Overview The organization is seeking a

Senior Account Director, CME

to play a key role in the execution and support of accredited medical education initiatives. This position partners closely with senior education strategy leaders and is responsible for supporting CME grant development, instructional planning, outcomes reporting, and internal account coordination.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone with experience in

medical education

who enjoys managing multiple workstreams, producing polished deliverables, and keeping complex projects organized and on schedule.

This position does

not

include direct people management.

Core Responsibilities Medical Education & Instructional Support Assist education strategy leadership in translating identified clinician learning gaps into appropriate educational formats and activity designs Apply adult learning concepts and instructional frameworks to accredited CME/CE activities Grant & Proposal Execution Support the preparation, refinement, and organization of CME grant submissions, including needs assessments and activity descriptions Enhance the clarity, structure, and professional presentation of grant materials submitted to commercial supporters Maintain organized records, version control, and submission documentation Outcomes Reporting & Project Coordination Support the preparation of CME outcomes and activity reports, including data validation and formatting consistency Improve readability and visual presentation of reports for internal and external stakeholders Track timelines and milestones to ensure deliverables are completed on time Internal Partnership & Account Support Coordinate with internal medical education, operations, and research teams to support smooth program execution Maintain an account-focused mindset to ensure stakeholders remain aligned and informed

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, healthcare, or equivalent professional experience Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting

medical education, CME/CE, healthcare communications, or similar regulated environments Prior experience in account coordination, or proposal-driven work Working knowledge of

ACCME, AMA, and related accrediting standards Experience in

medical education for HCPs

Preferred Experience Direct involvement with CME grant submissions and/or outcomes reporting Familiarity with clinician-focused education across therapeutic areas Experience formatting professional proposals or supporter-facing documents Comfort working with basic data tables, charts, and reporting metrics
