The Senior Director, Performance Management will serve as a strategic partner driving performance optimization, cost efficiency, and ROI accountability across all operational and technology functions at Pediatric Associates. This is a hands‑on analytical leadership role that combines financial analysis, vendor performance management, and strategic planning to deliver measurable cost reductions, operational efficiency, and data‑driven decision‑making. This role ensures PA achieves optimal staffing ratios, maximizes vendor performance, and validates ROI for all major initiatives while building sustainable performance‑management frameworks that support scalable growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.

Conduct comprehensive ROI analysis for all new operational and technology initiatives; provide data‑driven recommendations to executive leadership.

Partner with the finance team to build and deploy zero‑based budgeting processes, spend analytics, and cost allocation models to improve financial transparency and accountability.

Develop and optimize staffing ratio models across clinical, administrative, and technology teams to ensure appropriate resource allocation and productivity.

Establish and maintain vendor performance management framework including KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, quarterly business reviews, and continuous performance monitoring.

Partner with IT procurement on strategic vendor negotiations, contract renewals, and vendor consolidation efforts to optimize pricing, service delivery, and total cost of ownership.

Partner with technology leadership and IT procurement to optimize IT spend, software licensing, cloud costs, and technology vendor relationships.

Conduct spend analysis and benchmarking to identify cost outliers, inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities across all business units.

Perform workforce planning analysis including headcount forecasting, span of control optimization, and productivity benchmarking.

Proven track record in delivering 10% cost reduction in annual costs savings consistently through vendor management and process improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years in operations, finance, consulting, or supply chain with 3+ years leading operational excellence and cost optimization programs.

Proven track record of delivering

$3M+ in annual cost savings

through vendor management, process improvement, and operational transformation.

Demonstrated success implementing process improvements.

Advanced financial modeling, data analysis, and business intelligence skills (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau, or similar tools).

Demonstrated success partnering with senior leadership and influencing decision‑makers to drive organizational change.

Strong project management and change management capabilities with experience leading cross‑functional initiatives.

Healthcare industry experience preferred; understanding of clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and patient care workflows a plus.

MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
