To complete face-to-face customer banking transactions, sell and cross-sell bank products and services, and provide exceptional customer service. Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures. Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies. Exemplifies our 212 commitment to service. Processes deposits, withdrawals, cash checks and balances a cash drawer. Cashes checks following SYB check cashing policy. Sells official checks. Processes and balances teller work through image capture. Consultative selling
engaging customers and prospects to uncover needs and offer solutions. Assists with beginning, end of day and other operational duties as needed. Participates in weekly team meetings. Work on teller line, which will require long periods of standing. Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Experience: Customer contact and cash handling experience. Specific skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work well with others. Good math skills. PC proficient. Primarily sedentary work performed in an office environment. Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer. Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with clients, team members, and vendors via phone, video, and in person. Visual acuity sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents, and financial data. Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching. Ability to lift and carry up to 1015 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies).
