Golf Starter/Marshall
This position greets every guest at Suncadia's legendary courses. As a starter/marshall, you'll confirm check-ins against tee sheets, assist players with questions and oversee the flow of play on the golf courses. Accurately account for all guests playing the golf course on a daily basis Inform members/guests of the daily course conditions (cart paths, yardages, pin placements, etc.) Communicate options related to on-course services Accurately record all cart numbers as they pertain to each individual tee time, to assist the Rangers with pace of play Communicate all golf course policies, procedures, and expectations (daily and permanent) prior to the beginning of play Communicate any / all pertinent resort information and activities Communicate with our guests in accordance with Company standards and guidelines; Assist with ensuring adherence to all rules and regulations during the course of play, including cart policy and pace of play Ensure a positive and memorable golf experience for our guests Qualifications
Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays Thorough knowledge of the game of golf and U.S.P.G.A rules Previous customer service and/or hospitality experience Ability to resolve problems using good judgment Ability to work as a team and/or as an individual with minimal supervision Perform basic manual labor Work outside in a variety of weather conditions
