
About Us
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Systems Engineer/Director of Engineering for ChromoLogic LLC ( a world-class innovation center with active scientific research and development in the medical, aerospace and security markets. The candidate we seek will oversee engineering programs at ChromoLogic and Covisus Inc. ( a VC-funded spin-off from ChromoLogic that has developed an award-winning and industry-leading technology for tagless tracking of assets based on its vTag® technology. As the leader of the engineering team, the successful candidate will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting‑edge hardware systems on current and upcoming programs within the military/aerospace and medical supply chain sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements mapping, developing product specifications to market requirements, systems engineering, integration, test, and V&V functions
- Communication and interface to program leadership and both internal and external customers
- Management of schedule and resources for program execution, staffing, systems testing, subcontractors, BOM and deliverables
- Coordination of resolution of engineering challenges
- Obtaining alignment on system acceptance criteria and procedures to internal and external customer sets, timely production of objective evidence and artifacts to support acceptance
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience leading early TRL stage technologies with proficiency in rapid prototyping
- Must have experience in transitioning low TRL technologies into production
- Bachelor of Science or higher engineering degree (systems, electrical, mechanical, computer or software)
- Proficiency in CAD, ticket tracking, system integration and project tracking tools
- Minimum 10 years experience in product development, integration, and verification
- Minimum 3 years managing direct reports of a team of technical members with a track record of technical leadership & deliverables
