Aquatics Director

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Aquatics Director intentionally fosters a cause-centered culture that is welcoming, genuine, hopeful, nurturing, and determined while also managing high-quality, member-focused aquatics programs and facility rentals.

1. Minimum age of 21.
2. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent.
3. One to two years' related experience preferred.
4. Certifications required within 60 days of hire: CPR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen.
5. Ability to complete the following courses before the 1st work shift: Child Abuse Prevention, Bloodborne Pathogens, Athlete Protection, and Sexual Harassment training.
6. Completion of YMCA aquatics training and trainer certifications.
7. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
8. Passion for the YMCA mission and commitment to serving the community.
