This position is assigned to the McDowell County Parks and Recreation Department. Work hours will routinely be during the evening hours; Monday through Sunday and weekend days. Physical requirements are standing for long periods of time, running, jumping and walking long distances.
The person in this position will be serving in all aspects of officiating sports programs including; Youth baseball, Youth Softball, Youth Basketball, Youth Football, Youth Soccer, Youth Swimming, Adult Softball and Adult Basketball. This will include but not be limited to: all Parks and Recreation Sports. Other specific duties and responsibilities will be discussed with applicant at the interview process.
Candidate must possess a valid NC driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle.
Have experience officiating sports.
