is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to recruit multiple inpatient

CDI Specialists

to join a high-performing Clinical Documentation Integrity team.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced CDI professionals who are passionate about clinical accuracy, compliant documentation, and collaborating with providers to ensure the patient record truly reflects the severity of illness and risk of mortality.

What You’ll Do Review clinical documentation and develop compliant, high-quality provider queries that accurately reflect the patient’s clinical picture Evaluate clinical indicators and recommendations from MD reviewers and auditors Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure clarity, accuracy, and proper interpretation of documentation Create queries in alignment with

AHIMA, ACDIS, and AHA Coding Clinic

guidelines Apply ICD-10 coding guidelines and medical terminology to support accurate diagnoses and procedures for appropriate reimbursement Maintain productivity and quality standards while using CDI tracking tools for reportable data Participate in ongoing education through

ACDIS

and internal learning opportunities to stay current on best practices Adhere to all internal policies, federal and state regulations, and compliance standards

What We’re Looking For 3+ years of CDI experience

(required) 2+ years of clinical experience

(required) Strong attention to detail, written communication, and clinical judgment Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Credentials & Education One or more of the following certifications:

CDIP, CCDS, CCS, RN, BSN Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field preferred
