As a Commercial Property Manager, you’ll take the lead in overseeing a portfolio of commercial properties, ensuring they operate at their best every single day. From tenant relations and vendor management to budgets and building systems, you’ll be the go-to person making sure everything runs like clockwork.
This isn’t just about maintenance and numbers—it’s about creating great experiences for tenants, partnering with vendors and contractors, and helping properties perform at their highest level.
What You’ll Do
Build strong, positive relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors (customer service is always #1). Oversee daily operations including tenant relations, accounting, maintenance, and security. Lead and support your team members, mentoring and motivating them to succeed. Prepare and manage property budgets, reports, and reconciliations. Conduct regular property inspections and recommend improvements. Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, keeping quality high and costs in check. Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, events, and activities. Ensure compliance with leases, codes, and company policies. What We’re Looking For
2+ years as a Commercial Property Manager (office, retail, industrial, medical office, or multi-family) OR 2+ years as an Assistant Property Manager in a commercial setting. 4+ years total experience in the commercial property management industry. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience with industry education. Solid knowledge of property operations, accounting/finance, leasing, contracts, insurance, and building systems. Tech savvy: Microsoft Office365, property management software (MRI, Yardi, Avid, etc.) A natural relationship builder with strong communication skills. Who You Are
