Overview
This position is eligible for the
Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

The HUD-VASH program is a collaborative effort, supported through HUD Section 8 rental assistance vouchers and VA\'s provision of intensive case management services. The primary goal of HUD-VASH is to move veterans and their families out of chronic homelessness. The primary component of the program is VA case management services, designed to improve veterans\' health and mental health while enhancing their ability to remain stable, housed and integrated into the community. This position serves as the primary contact with local Public Housing Agencies (PHAs). This position also provides mental health services as appropriate.
