The Principal Enterprise Architect will lead the design and governance of enterprise-wide technology architecture, focusing on cloud-based connectivity frameworks, DevOps automation, performance engineering, and compliance with medical device standards. This role ensures secure, scalable, and interoperable solutions across hybrid environments while driving innovation in microservices, embedded applications, BLE connectivity, and distributed cloud systems. Strategic alignment with business transformation and cost optimization is a key responsibility, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value. What you’ll do Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks for cloud-based connectivity platforms (AWS, Azure). Define standards for API-driven integration, RESTful interface design, microservices, and event-driven architectures. Drive adoption of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Jira, and cloud-native tools. Oversee architecture for automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Lead performance benchmarking and optimization of distributed cloud systems using tools like New Relic, Datadog, or equivalent. Architect solutions for embedded applications and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity. Ensure best practices for C# development, microservices orchestration, and secure connectivity. Collaborate with engineering teams to implement observability, scalability, and resilience strategies. Ensure compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and relevant cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, FDA guidance). Prepare architecture documentation for regulatory audits and submissions. Align architecture decisions with business transformation goals and cost optimization strategies. Mentor and develop enterprise and solution architects in modern architecture and automation practices. What we are looking for in you Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (AWS Well-Architected Framework) and cloud connectivity patterns. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Jira, AWS or Azure native services. Strong knowledge of performance engineering, benchmarking, and observability tools (New Relic, Datadog). Proficiency in C#, RESTful API design, microservices, and integration with embedded systems. Familiarity with BLE connectivity, IoT architecture principles, and distributed cloud systems. Deep understanding of medical device software lifecycle standards (IEC 62304), quality management systems (ISO 13485), risk management (ISO 14971), and cybersecurity frameworks.
