is looking for an

Advertising Account Executive

to help us sell advertising and sponsorships for print, digital, social media and events for LINK nky and CityBeat. We are a small company, so every hire is a critical member of the team and must be willing to work quickly, stay flexible, and understand that what we are creating is bigger than any one person or personality. Compensation : Negotiable based on experience. Anticipated first-year compensation $60k - $75k. What We Expect from You

Sales: You will be making sales calls and holding sales meetings every single day. Networking in the community to meet new prospects and promote LINK nky and CityBeat. Clear communication with our production and accounting staff to execute on sales closed. Excellent, consultative customer service to keep our advertisers and sponsors happy. Creative ideas for sponsorships and advertisers for our different content areas. Don’t be a jerk. We expect ethical and honest treatment of your team and our advertisers and sponsors. Skills We Need You to Have

B2B sales experience or training. Proposal creation experience. Creativity. Strong communication – written and oral – abilities. No degree needed, but one in business or marketing wouldn’t hurt. Did we mention you shouldn’t be a jerk? What You Can Expect from Us
