
Position Summary
The Senior Director of Ministry Partnerships serves as the senior leader responsible for advancing PreBorn’s Christ-centered, pro-life mission through comprehensive fundraising and donor engagement strategies. Reporting to the Vice President of Growth, this role provides strategic and tactical support and operational leadership across all philanthropic revenue streams to ensure sustainable growth and long-term impact.
The SDMP works in close partnership with the VP Growth to cultivate a culture of biblical stewardship, expand donor relationships, and lead a high-performing advancement team.
Primary Responsibilities Strategic Advancement Leadership
Develop and execute a multi-year advancement strategy aligned with PreBorn’s mission, values, and organizational priorities.
Serve as a strategic contributor on the Growth Team, collaborating on enterprise-wide planning and decision-making.
Establish and achieve ambitious annual and long-term fundraising goals consistent with organizational scale and growth objectives.
Lead all fundraising functions, including major and principal gifts, annual giving, mid-level giving, planned giving, foundations, corporate partnerships, events, and campaigns.
Major & Principal Gifts
Personally manage a portfolio of top donors and prospects, cultivating and soliciting transformational gifts.
Partner with the VP Growth in donor strategy, high-level solicitations, and stewardship.
Oversee development of compelling, mission-centered cases for support.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and scale a sophisticated advancement team, fostering accountability, excellence, and spiritual maturity.
Set clear goals, performance metrics, and professional development plans for advancement staff.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, finance, and program leadership.
Board & External Engagement
Equip and support Board members as effective fundraising ambassadors and donor partners.
Represent PreBorn with donors, churches, foundations, and strategic partners.
Strengthen relationships within faith-based and pro-life networks nationwide.
Operations, Systems & Stewardship
Oversee advancement operations, CRM systems, analytics, forecasting, and reporting.
Ensure best-in-class donor stewardship, transparency, and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Utilize data-driven insights to improve fundraising performance and donor retention.
