Role Overview As

Senior Manager of Field Marketing , you will shape and execute DroneDeploy’s North America field marketing strategy, reporting to the VP of Demand Generation. You’ll own the planning and delivery of our flagship customer conference (Horizons), C-suite and VIP experiences, and a portfolio of high-impact field events that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.

Work Environment

Remote position open to candidates based in North America, with a preference for Central time zones to maximize collaboration with global teams.

Flexible schedule with core collaboration during standard business hours in your local time zone.

Frequent travel (approximately 30–40%) to lead and support events, customer engagements, and company initiatives across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the North America field marketing strategy, aligning event programs with business goals and revenue targets.

Own the end-to-end planning, budgeting, and delivery of flagship events and North America trade shows, including the Horizons customer conference, executive roundtables, VIP experiences, and our broader external events portfolio.

Partner closely with sales, product marketing, and executive leadership to ensure field marketing activities directly support pipeline creation, acceleration, and retention.

Recruit, manage, and develop a team of direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Analyze event performance and pipeline impact, using data to optimize future programs and maximize ROI.

Experiment with new event formats, channels, and technologies (including AI-driven efficiencies) to enhance attendee engagement and operational effectiveness.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as the face of field marketing for the region.

Establish repeatable processes, templates, and best practices to scale the field marketing function as the team grows.

Requirements

7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a proven track record in field marketing, event strategy, and pipeline generation for technology or SaaS companies.

Demonstrated success leading large-scale customer conferences, executive activations, trade shows, and field events that drive measurable business outcomes.

Experience managing a team of direct reports, budgets, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Strong analytical mindset, comfortable using data to inform strategy and optimize performance.

Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to partnering across sales, marketing, and executive teams.

Creative problem-solver who embraces new technologies and is open to leveraging AI for process improvement.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Available to travel up to 40% for events and key meetings.

$165,000 - $180,000 a year
