As a Senior Paralegal at Semtech, you will provide legal support to our in-house legal team, focusing primarily on contracts, intellectual property (IP), and proxy work. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal to gain experience in the semiconductor and technology industry. The ideal candidate will have foundational paralegal experience and demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities

Intellectual Property Assistance:

Provide support for patent and trademark portfolio management, including data entry, deadline tracking, and document organization Intellectual Property Assistance (cont.):

Assist with IP correspondence and filing preparations under supervision Intellectual Property Assistance (cont.):

Help maintain IP records and databases, ensuring accuracy and timely updates Intellectual Property Assistance (cont.):

Support patent and trademark application processes by preparing basic documentation and coordinating with external counsel Contract Support:

Assist with contract administration, including organizing contract files, tracking key dates, and maintaining contract databases Contract Support (cont.):

Support contract review processes by identifying standard terms and flagging issues for attorney review Contract Support (cont.):

Help prepare routine agreements such as NDAs and basic vendor agreements using established templates Contract Support (cont.):

Monitor contract compliance deadlines and assist with renewal processes Corporate Governance Support:

Assist with proxy statement preparation and shareholder meeting coordination Corporate Governance Support (cont.):

Support proxy solicitation processes and shareholder communication efforts Corporate Governance Support (cont.):

Help maintain stockholder records and assist with proxy-related correspondence Corporate Governance Support (cont.):

Support annual meeting preparation and documentation Administrative and General Support:

Provide administrative assistance to legal team, including scheduling, file management, and correspondence Administrative and General Support (cont.):

Assist with invoice processing and budget tracking for outside counsel Administrative and General Support (cont.):

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors as needed Administrative and General Support (cont.):

Support special projects and other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved or accredited program, OR Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, OR equivalent relevant experience 7-15 years of paralegal experience, preferably with exposure to contracts, IP, or proxy work Some experience with contract management and intellectual property matters Experience with legal research and document preparation Basic knowledge of legal terminology and research methods Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with document management systems helpful Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation Good organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Self-motivated with willingness to learn and take on new challenges Discretion in handling confidential information Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any field Exposure to technology or semiconductor industry legal matters Experience with patent and trademark prosecution Experience with proxy solicitation or shareholder communications Familiarity with contract management software The intent of this job description is to describe the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
