Overview

This position oversees association operations, administers member programs and executes marketing strategies to promote ABMA and its members. This role also ensures members are informed and engaged in advancing our industry. Candidate should live in the Austin, TX area and will work remote 3-4 days a week and meet 1-2 day a week in Cedar Park, TX or North Austin, TX for weekly meeting(s) with Vice-President of Membership & Marketing. Responsibilities

Oversee ABMA’s membership cycle including renewal process along with engaging and on-boarding new members, implementing strategies for recruitment and retention. Administration of membership database to ensure content is up-to-date and accurate and all payments are collected in a timely manner and accurately allocated when received. Manage content throughout all ABMA’s communication platforms including websites, social media, newsletters, Buyers Guide and other publications. Implement marketing campaigns, creating collateral and graphics to promote ABMA’s events, programs, and services and sharing reports on campaign success. Collaborate with ABMA staff leadership and external partners to achieve organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Support the planning and execution of ABMA meetings and events focusing on sponsor fulfillment, social posts, new member engagement and other membership and marketing tasks. Respond to member inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective members. Travel periodically required with longer trips (4-5 days) a few times a year. Interact and cooperate with fellow staff members to ensure alignment and meet deadlines to provide the very best in customer service to our members and related parties. Other assignments, tasks or special projects as needed to support association efficiency and productivity. Essential Job Qualifications

Strong desire and track record of delivering exceptional customer service. Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3-4 years of experience in project management, implementing engagement strategies and marketing programs, or a related role, preferably in a trade association or non-profit organization. Must be motivated with a desire to accept a challenge and adapt to changing priorities and demands. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication and analytical skills required. Strong planning, time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A team player with a positive attitude and flexibility with a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Ability to work individually and within a team dynamic … Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), familiarity with association management software (AMS) or other database software and basic design experience with software such as Publisher and Canva. Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems. General Skill Requirements
