About the Opportunity Calculated Hire is in search of an Escrow & Title Assistant for our Fortune 500 Financial Services company. You will be responsible for the following components: The Escrow Specialist supports the escrow and title teams by providing high-quality administrative, compliance, and communication support throughout the transaction lifecycle. This role requires strong title and closing knowledge, excellent organization, and the ability to manage a high volume of incoming requests. This position does not carry or manage files independently. Experience in title and escrow, preferably across multiple states, is strongly preferred. Responsibilities will include: Serve as an initial point of contact on new and existing orders, providing professional and timely communication to all parties Receive and manage a medium to high volume of inbound calls, emails, and requests, routing and responding appropriately Perform order entry and file setup in the title production system Review settlement statements, title commitments, and related documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Identify discrepancies or issues and escalate to the appropriate escrow, title, or curative team Coordinate and communicate updates between escrow, curative, and internal teams as needed Perform administrative and operational support tasks as needed to support the escrow team Qualifications: The ideal candidate shall have a minimum of 3 years of experience in title and escrow, preferably in for a national title agent Strong understanding of: Residential title and escrow transactions Chain of title and common title defects Settlement statements and closing documentation Ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of title industry systems and software (SoftPro, Resware, Pyramid, Salesforce a plus) Ability to track, resolve, and/or escalate time sensitive issues and document in order management system
