
Overview
NVIDIA's Silicon Solutions Group, Efficiency (SSGE) team is seeking a Datacenter Automation Tools Designer to build the next generation of automation for post-silicon validation of NVIDIA datacenter products. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain adaptable, high-quality validation tools and frameworks that improve engineering coverage, reliability, and productivity. You will partner closely with validation, infrastructure, and software teams to define intuitive, robust toolsets using modern frameworks and technologies. What you’ll be doing
Master NVIDIA’s design and verification development environments, flows, and processes.
Partner with board, silicon solutions, software, and applications engineering teams on validation requirements and methodologies.
Research in‑house or industry commercial design for verification applications.
Refine validation flows by extending existing tools or developing new ones to qualify chip and product features, increasing coverage and efficiency.
Help assess and optimize benchmarking tools to improve efficiency.
Learn the latest verification technologies, tools, and methods to drive continuous improvement.
What we need to see
MS or equivalent experience in EE, CE, CS, or Systems Engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Strong skills in Python and/or C/C++.
System validation knowledge, including CPU, memory, GPU, PCIE, and thermal/power control.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
Superb communication and collaboration abilities.
Ways to Stand out from the crowd
Hands‑on experience developing and extending silicon validation tools.
Basic understanding of AI models.
Experience using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) in automation development.
Hands‑on experience with hardware validation and data analysis, contributing to higher quality and more reliable solutions.
