Job Title: ENTRY Phlebotomist I
Location: 303 Se 17Th St, Ocala FL 34471
Duration: 4 Months
Shift: Mon-Fri 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM, rotational Saturdays
Responsibilities
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who come in, greeting them upon arrival and answering questions or concerns with care and compassion.
Help maintain the integrity of the waiting area and assist with breaks when other Phlebotomists are unavailable.
Will be trained on Phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.
Maintain an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining what to expect to patients regarding scheduled procedures in a safe and accurate manner.
Demonstrate excellence in customer care with a focus on process skills and confidentiality/accuracy of patient information.
Impact includes maintaining lobby integrity and ensuring patients receive the expected level of service.
Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public, with a willingness to learn new skills.
Job Requirements
Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check-ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
Be willing to learn Phlebotomy skills when there is downtime or breaks that need to be covered.
Once Phlebotomy skills are obtained, perform with confidence the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
High level of customer service experience/skills is required.
Education High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
