Admissions Representative – Aviation Institute of Maintenance, Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, non-profit role focused on guiding prospective students through the admissions process and achieving enrollment goals. About Us
The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM), established in 1969, is a premier institution dedicated to aviation maintenance education and training. With 15 campuses nationwide, AIM contributes to the graduation of a substantial portion of FAA-certified aircraft technicians in the United States. Location:
Aviation Institute of Maintenance - 4025 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85040 Schedule
Monday - Wednesday: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm One Saturday per month Responsibilities
Evaluate prospective students for enrollment eligibility and program fit Conduct outreach via phone, email, and in-person or virtual meetings to support applicants through each step of the admissions process Achieve and maintain enrollment goals by leading through personal performance Guide students from initial inquiry to enrollment, including appointment setting, interviews, application assistance, and follow-up Track student application status and ensure completion of required documentation Assist with recruitment events such as open houses and career fairs Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED; Associates' or higher degree preferred Experience: Proven experience in sales or customer service with a track record of meeting/exceeding KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, outreach goals, closing ratios); one or more years of admissions experience in a proprietary post-secondary setting preferred Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to connect with diverse audiences; excellent time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment; proficient with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn new systems Additional: Positive, team-oriented approach; willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed Benefits
